We now have the final 2 teams in the Knockout Cup - Willis & Co will play Dare Devils. The venue has yet ti be decided but I will post it as soon as we know. Good luck to both teams

The quarter final draw of the Knockout Cup is now on the website. Please ensure all matches are played by 22nd June and results sent to me by Saturday 25th June. Good luck everyone.
The contacts on the website have changed slightly. Nathan Batts is now Treasurer and Gregg Willis has joined the committee
UPDATE OF RULES FOR 2022
Last year an amendment was made to Rule 5 - Playing but this has not appeared on the website set of rules so below is the wording which should be inserted after the word "End".
"However no measuring is to take place before all the boules have been thrown. If this occurs no further boules must be played and the "end" will be deemed finished. No boule should be removed st the end of the game until both Captains have inspected and agreed, or the offending team will lose all points from that end".
Please ensure all your players are aware of this change.
The 1st round proper of the Knockout Cup has now been drawn and the matches are now on the website. Please ensure these matches are played by 1st June and results sent to me by Saturday 4th June. Good.luck everyone
Congratulations to Willis & Co. On winning the Champion of Champions at Kildare Lodge, Minehead last Sunday.
We are hoping to hold an AGM this year but have yet to decide on a venue and date. Team captains will be informed when we have come to a decision. The trophy presentation will also take place at the AGM as we will not be holding a dinner again this year.
Congratulations to Willis & Co., Sundowners and Hood Hoodlums winning their respective leagues and also Round Robin winners Willis & Co. league 1, Sundowners league 2 and Bicknoller Phoenix league 3. The Champion of Champions tournament between Willis & Co. Sundowners, Hood Hoodlums and Bicknoller Phoenix is taking place on Sunday 12th September at Kildare Lodge in Minehead if anyone want to come along and watch and/or support any of the teams. We hopefully will hold an AGM this year and will probably present the Trophies at that but no date or venue have been decided yet. Thanks to all the teams for a great season despite the difficulties and all the team captains for their timely submission of results.

Welcome to the delayed 2020 season now re-named the 2021 season!
We have 2 new teams joining us, from the Hood in Kilve, the Hood Hoodlums and the Bicnoller Blues are re-joining us as Bicknoller Phoenix.
We also have 2 team name changes this year, Haven Ravens are re-named Boules Deep and the Hound Dogs are now the Groundhogs.
Unfortunately, 2 teams have dropped out of the league, St. Audries Bay from League 1 and George 1st at Nether Stowey from League 3.
The Sundowners will now be playing their home games at Haven in Doniford and the Groundhogs and Je Suis Charlie will be playing at The Victory Hall, Tower Hill, Stogursey TA5 1PR. It's also possible that the Sun Risers may have to change venue but I will keep you informed.
The season will start on Wednesday 19th May through till Wednesday 18th August. Due to the restricted season, we will not be competing for the Knockout Cup this year and a decision about the Round Robin and Champion of Champions will be taken at a later date.
I can now update this news page and will endeavour to do this every week so if you have any news, please let me know and I can include it in my weekly update.
